Alcohol
Alcohol is a colourless flammable liquid that is naturally produced when ripe fruits or juices ferment. This happens through the fermentation of sugar- or starch-containing raw materials, via help of yeast or bacteria. These raw materials are of natural origin and can be roots (such as gentian) or fruits. Through the distillation process, high-quality, high-percentage natural alcohol is eventually obtained. Depending on the subsequent processing, this can then become a liqueur, brandy, schnapps, or a spirit.
